Accessibility audit for the EAA and WCAG 2.2 AA

A store where everyone can finish checkout.

We test your pages, basket and checkout with a keyboard, a screen reader and enlarged text. You get a list of issues ranked by impact, and then we can fix them in the code.

How it runs: an audit of key templates, a prioritised report, fixes in the code and a retest.

Benefits

Less risk. More customers who buy.

Compliance with the law

Since 28 June 2025, online stores in the EU must meet accessibility requirements. The audit shows where you fall short and what to fix first.

Higher conversion

Issues that block people with disabilities also get in the way of everyone on a phone. Clear forms and messages help every customer finish their order.

A clear task list

Every issue has a location, a WCAG criterion, its impact on users and a suggested fix. Your team knows what to do without guessing.

His knowledge and skill in web development make him a huge asset on any project, able to quickly diagnose and tackle projects of all shapes and sizes.

FAQ

The accessibility questions we hear most often.

Does the EAA apply to my store?

The Act covers e-commerce services sold to consumers in the EU. Only microenterprises providing services are exempt. If you are not sure about your case, confirm it with a lawyer.

Is the audit a legal opinion?

No. It is a technical audit against WCAG 2.2 AA, the reference point for accessibility requirements. You can pass the report to your lawyer.

Is an accessibility plugin or overlay enough?

No. Overlays don’t fix the code behind forms, focus or error messages. Those issues have to be fixed in the site itself.

How long do fixes take?

It depends on how many issues there are and how serious they are. We fix a typical store in 1–2 weeks. We give the timeline and price after the audit.

How much does an accessibility audit cost?

Audits start at €1,200 net for a store with standard templates. The price grows with the number of templates and custom widgets, such as configurators.
